About Hubbybap 🤍

Hi, I’m Soo, the home cook behind Hubbybap 🤍

I share simple, comforting meals inspired by Korean flavors. Really, it’s just the kind of food I actually cook at home for my husband and myself. The meals you make after a long day, when you want something cozy and satisfying without spending hours in the kitchen.

I’m not a chef, just a huge foodie who loves experimenting with flavors, adding little fusion twists, and finding ways to make recipes feel easier, lighter, or more approachable for everyday life.

Hubbybap originally started as a way for me to document the meals I was making at home. “Bap” means rice in Korean, but it can also simply mean a meal. Something comforting you share with people you love.

Some recipes here are nostalgic Korean dishes I grew up eating, some are lighter or shortcut versions of foods I crave, and sometimes it’s honestly just me trying to make something delicious out of whatever’s left in the fridge 😭

I love food that feels comforting but still realistic to make on a busy day. Nothing overly complicated or intimidating. Just flavorful, cozy meals that hopefully make everyday cooking feel a little more fun and approachable.

Thanks for being here 🤍
